About Rita

I believe empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With three years of experience as a substitute teacher, I specialize in Math, English, Science, History, and study skills for elementary through 9th grade. I am currently getting my masters in early childhood and childhood education with an extension to teach English and Social Studies up to 9th grade. I try to adapt to each students unique needs by actively listening and utilizing diverse strategies, such as visual aids and hands-on problem solving. When concepts feel difficult, I break them into manageable steps and connect lessons to students personal interests to maintain engagement. I believe clear, consistent communication with both student and parents is the foundation of success. I look forward to helping your students grow and succeed in their academic journey.
