About Risa
I have spent the last few months helping a woman in her 80s with Alzheimer's and dementia. I provided companionship and I helped with cooking, cleaning, shopping, running errands, refilling medications, and administering medications. I seek to be a good listener and to be present with whoever it is that I am helping. My experience as a caregiver so far has been rewarding because of the friendship I developed with my client.

Our 86 y.o. Mother with Alzheimers, couldnt have had a better caregiver. Risa was amazing! She prepped and served our Mother food, hydration, electolytes, wonderful conversation and was very attentive to our Mother's physical and emotional needs, went on daily excursions, walks along the river, grocery shopping various errands and lunches out. Our Mother always looked forward to Risa coming, and obviously showed full trust and relaxation around Risa. This meant the world to us, knowing that she was in such capable hands. We will all miss Risa!
