About Riley

I'd describe my personality as patient, empathetic, and composed. I like working with kids because of the creativity that children so easily express. I too like to express my creative and "childish" side. I'm looking for a job that helps me maintain a work-life balance while enjoying the time I am working. I started officially working with adolescents in March of last year, when I started working at a residential treatment center for neurodiverse teens. However, I have experience as an older sibling, providing care to my siblings from when they were infants to when they were teenagers. I especially had to step into a more supportive role after my parents divorced. In my spare time, I like to play guitar, spend time with family and friends, and play all sorts of games. One thing you should know about me is that I prioritize healthy relationships. My skills include attentive monitoring, clear communication, and being able to adapt to one's needs.
