About Rhonda

I am a compassionate, dependable and active companion who genuinely enjoys spending time with older adults. I believe staying socially connected, active and well nourished can make an important difference in quality of life as we age. My background is in health education, macrobiotics and Mediterranean-style nutrition, and I enjoy helping people incorporate wholesome foods into their everyday lives. As part of my visits, I can prepare several simple, healthy dishes that can be refrigerated and enjoyed over the next few days, rather than serving as a personal cook. I am also happy to provide companionship, conversation, walks and outings, transportation, errands and help with everyday activities. My background as an educator has made me patient, organized and an excellent communicator. Above all, I want the person I'm spending time with to feel respected, engaged, cared for and less alone, while giving their family greater peace of mind.
