About Reyna

Hello! I was previously an elementary school teacher for the past 5 years, before that I worked as an special education instructional assistant supporting students with IEPs in general education classrooms. I also worked as an instructional assistant in general education Transitional Kindergarten classes. I have tutored primarily third graders in reading, writing and math, I also was an in-home education manager for 5 students ranging from ages 2-9 years during COVID; I supported them with asynchronous assignments, staying engaged during Zoom lessons and met their social-emotional learning needs as well. I myself have ADHD and I am very passionate about supporting all learners, especially neurodivergent scholars who may not be seen or understood at school. We are all intelligent and capable of learning anything, some of us just need more time, patience , focused attention and support in figuring out how our brains learn best.
