About Renee

Empowering elementary students to reach their full potential has been my professional focus for the past 10 years. I hold a college degree and specialize in Math, English, and Special Education. My teaching philosophy centers on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. By observing how a student interacts with new material, I tailor my approach using visual aids, hands-on activities, and interactive discussions. I break complex concepts into manageable steps, celebrating every small success to keep momentum high. I prioritize clear, consistent communication with families to ensure a collaborative environment. Whether we meet at your home, a library, or online, I am committed to creating a patient, supportive space for growth. Witnessing that "aha!" moment when a student finally masters a new skill is why I love what I do. I look forward to helping your child shine.
