I am a career educator with 16 years of experience as an elementary teacher. I hold a Master of Science in Education and have spent nearly two decades helping students reach their full academic potential. My background in the classroom allows me to quickly identify learning gaps and create customized plans that align with school curriculum standards. I specialize in foundational literacy and math support for elementary students. I do not just help with the nightly homework. Instead, I focus on building the underlying skills and confidence a student needs to work independently. My approach is patient and encouraging, designed to help children overcome academic frustration and develop a genuine growth mindset. I pride myself on being able to maintain a structured, safe environment while still being the person who can connect with a child on their level and make them feel truly seen.
