About Renee

I began babysitting at 13. Caring for children has always come naturally to me. In my 20s, I worked in the infant/toddler program at Cherub Childcare, the first employer-funded onsite daycare center for Kaiser Permanente and the VA Hospital. I later became a full-time nanny for a 6-year-old girl. Ultimately, I went the corporate route and was a project manager for many years. In 2022 I decided to leave the corporate sector and return to childcare. I cared for a little boy from 15 months to 3 years (March 2022 thru December 2023). January 2024, I relocated back to NorCal to be close to my daughter, who welcomed my first grandchild in April 2024. I've been one of her primary caregivers since birth. Now, I'm ready to return to professional nanny work and am seeking a long-term position with a great family. I'm comfortable with all ages - from newborns to tweens - and I bring a warm, grounded, and reliable presence. I'm also happy to assist as a mother's helper or household assistant.
