I've been a senior caregiver for 17 years and before that I was in the field of Social Work. I am an honest, dependable and experienced caregiver and I'm eager to begin caring for you or your relative. Most of those I've cared for had more than one medical condition. The majority had some form of dementia as well as other issues, such as; Parkinson's Disease, Cancer, Diabetes, Congestive Heart Failure, Total Knee Replacement and other conditions. I have some experience with end of life care which included monitoring oxygen, administering comfort meds, taking vital signs and communicating with relatives, medical staff and sometimes pastoral staff regarding the patient's status. I have always gravitated toward helping professions and I believe in providing safety and comfort in a friendly, personal and compassionate way.
