After college, I taught geometry and Algebra II accelerated at a prep school in Connecticut. In addition to teaching in a classroom setting, I also engaged in countless hours of one-on-one tutoring outside of class with students who needed additional help. I loved this role, but made the difficult decision to leave it to return to school. I then pursued a master's degree in nutrition science and public health. Since completing my graduate degree, I've been working in international nutrition research. Unfortunately, this role has been impacted by the USAID stop-work order, so I am left with unexpected free time!
