Empowering students to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. With six years of experience and a college degree, I specialize in Math, English, Science, and test preparation for elementary and middle school students. My approach centers on building critical thinking and problem-solving skills within a patient, supportive environment. I adapt my methods by using visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions to match your unique learning style. When a concept feels difficult, I break it into manageable steps and connect the material to your personal interests to maintain momentum. I hold certifications as a Certified teacher, Individualized Education Programs (IEP), and Student accommodation plans (504). Clear communication is the foundation of my work, as I believe collaboration between students and parents is essential for growth. Nothing beats the joy of witnessing that "aha!" moment when a concept finally clicks for you.
