I took some time off to be home with my 2 children, who are now 19 and 22. For 2 years I helped care for a very sweet non-verbal preschooler, and during my kids' school years friends often came home with us after school, stayed for dinner, and occasionally overnight when their parents' work schedules needed that kind of help. I still help friends out with babysitting. I love the wonder kids experience in learning about the world, and I love that they give 100%, whether it's with focus, joy, enthusiasm, sadness, frustration, or any other emotion. I like the philosophy that free time, nature and mess provide the best learning environment for kids. Children are one of life's true delights!

Becky showed up on time and was warm and caring. She asked questions and aimed to keep my baby on his 'schedule.' My son is 3.5 months and it was my first time away from him. She made me feel less anxious. My baby has severe FOMO and it's a fight to get him to nap. She was able to get him to sleep twice which were the biggest accomplishments of the day. I will look to rehire her when we have a need and would recommend her for others to hire.
