About Rebecca

Hello. My name is Rebecca. I'm a former elementary school teacher looking for a part time tutoring position. I'd describe my personality as positive, encouraging, and caring. I'm looking for a job that allows me to use my skills and knowledge as a certified teacher, and to create a tutoring environment where children can do their best learning. I started tutoring when I started my teaching career in 2008. I tutored students after school and during the summer. In my spare time, I enjoy exercising, walking my dogs, playing outside with my daughter, and gardening. I also enjoy traveling abroad! One thing you should know about me is I am a certified teacher in Texas. I have my license in elementary and special education. My skills include building a positive relationship with students, keeping students engaged, and differentiating tasks.
