About Rebecca

Hello! I'm a certified teacher in 7-12 Grade Social Studies who's taking some time away from the physical classroom this year. I'd love to use this time to do the thing I love most--helping young people become the best versions of themselves they can be. I've been a student teacher in elementary, middle, and high schools and have experience tutoring for elementary and middle school math, language/writing skills and executive functioning (time management, organization, etc). It is very important to me that I not only help students gain the skills and knowledge they need to excel academically, but also connect that coursework to their real experiences and interests. I look forward to providing all the guidance and support each kid needs to be empowered as a learner and grow as an individual!
