About Rebecca

I have been an educator for over 20 years, primarily working in early childhood education. I owned and operated my own preschool for 13 years! I especially love exploring nature with children as awe and wonder are central to my own human practice. I am very drawn towards the energies of curiosity and amusement and this helps a lot in conflict resolution. When you're genuinely curious about a person's needs (and the strategies to get those needs met) and can approach with neutrality and levity, there is usually a pathway forward. I deeply believe that children are capable beings worthy of respect and trust. I have many skills to share, like I'm a pretty darn good cook, love singing to and with children, can drum up art projects out of found/random materials, love telling stories, and can make a task like washing the dishes or cleaning up toys fun. I've worked with so many children over the years that I am able to easily adapt to meet the needs of your unique child.
