About Rebecca

Hey y'all! Here's a bit about me: I'd describe my personality as nurturing, grounding, and empathic. I try to be as understanding, kind, and accepting as possible of anyone I encounter. I started working with kids when I was 12- I was a babysitter part time on weekends and after school for several years. In my junior year of high school I was an intern in a 1st grade classroom, and throughout my BA I worked as an assistant teacher at an ECE facility. Since 2017 I have worked with children from birth to about 8 years old as an assistant or lead teacher, and was most recently an Infant Teacher in a mixed age classroom (6mos - 18mos). As of right now I'm a nanny for a 4-month-old infant until September, and am seeking roles that would start around then in order to transition myself smoothly from one role to the next. I'm based in Germantown but have my own car so I can reliably commute. I look forward to hearing from you! Becca (she/they)
