About Kate

Hi! I'm Kate, a Drexel University Elementary Education student with over 8 years of childcare experience. This fall I'll be completing my student teaching in an elementary classroom. Along with years of babysitting, I've worked as a teacher assistant in a special education classroom, at a childcare center where I cared for children in every age group from infants through preschool, and most recently in a Pre-K classroom through AmeriCorps. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, have all required Pennsylvania childcare clearances, and reliable transportation. I love planning fun activities, helping with homework, spending time outdoors, and creating a safe, positive environment where children can learn and grow. I'm also happy to help with light housekeeping, meal prep, school pick-ups, and pets. I look forward to meeting your family!
