About Rebecca

I have years of experience tutoring students from elementary through high school in a variety of subjects. I specialize in English, environmental science, biology, and general science, but I'm also well-versed in helping younger students across all core subjects. I have a strong academic background with a Ph. D. (in progress) in Biology and extensive teaching experience at the college level, including tutoring and mentoring students in science and writing. Before that, I spent years working with elementary students, helping them develop foundational skills in reading, writing, math, and science. My approach is patient, engaging, and tailored to each student's needs. I love making learning fun and accessible, whether it's breaking down complex scientific concepts, improving writing skills, or building confidence in math.
