About Rebecca

I am a mother of two, ages 25 and 28 and the grandmother of 2 boys ages 1 and 4. I also care for and give support to a 5-year-old boy with ASD (occasionally on weekends now that he has started school but prior to that, I nannied him 2-3 days a week). I recently retired from 28 years teaching high school science and was Nationally Board Certified. I have long supported the mamas in my community by spending time with their babies so they can go and do their thing, secure in knowing their baby is in good hands while they are recharging their own batteries. For the kiddos, I wear several hats; that of an adventure facilitator, a safety supervisor, a personal growth coach and an early childhood educator. I am very good at looking at the needs of the child/family and problem solving solutions that are creative and fun for all involved.
