About Rebecca

When I first came to Seattle, I worked for one year as a home care assistant for two elderly women through catholic community services doing errands/meal prep/light housekeeping. I've also helped care for some elderly relatives, including my mom who had dementia. I think I have the ability to be good elder care person as, although I may have less experience than others, I have 35 years of working with children ages birth to 11. I am experienced in communicating with people who are not always able to speak clearly or communicate with words and instead use gestures and facial expressions. It's an honor to care for the elders in my life and I would impart the same level of care to your family as I would to my own.
