Hi I'm Rayna! I am a passionate Elementary Educator who has 6 years experience teaching grades Pre K - 5th. I hold a valid teachers certificate in Washignton DC and Maryland. Aside from teaching I am also the Art Supervisor at the Edlavitch JCC. I have a passion for all things education - including teaching reading. I use the Science of Reading methodology to push students forward at least one grade level and have had a 100% success rate class wide. I am passionate about science, math, music, the arts, and Washington DC! Aside from teaching, I love to take my students on field trips around the city. I am currently finishing my last year teaching, and am looking to move to a more flexible role as I start Graduate School at GW in the fall. I look forward to speaking with you!
