About Raylynn

Ray has been my son’s nanny for almost a year and a half. She is AMAZING and WORTH EVERY PENNY! When she first started with our family, my son was a little over a year and very, very scared of new caregivers. Ray was so kind and patient with him. She had all kinds of out-of-the-box ideas for how to get him more comfortable with her and being separated from us. To our amazement, they really worked and it was so beautiful to watch him opening up to her. By now, Ray has built a strong bond with my son, she’s one of his “people” when he’s listing off the people he loves. 🥹 Ray has always been very communicative and reliable. For example, if there’s an accident causing traffic and she’s running late, she always texts and keeps us posted. Rarely, she will have to call out sick (our policy is for her to not come in), and she always gives us as much notice as possible. Ray is thoughtful about what we need and takes her responsibilities very seriously. Now, my son is starting preschool, so we’re saying goodbye to Ray as a primary caregiver. It is so hard! She’s been so great at getting my son ready for preschool, they’ve been working on classroom skills, interacting with other kids, and practicing napping in preschool-like conditions. As with everything she does, Ray’s thoughtfulness in helping our son transition to school has been amazing to me. I’m happy to chat more about why we think Ray is so awesome and answer any questions!
