My name is Amelia and I am 20 years old. I am a military spouse and am new to the island. I would love to find a nanny position for a family that will give me a chance to make new relationships with the children that you trust me to take care of. I have nannied for the past 3 years. I have been working for a family of five children ages ranging from infant to 11 years old. I enjoy nannying because it's important to me that I create a safe space for these children and I find that possible when working for one family as compared to a daycare. Previously, I helped with household chores, transporting the children, preparing meals, and leading the younger children in play. I value this job because it brings me joy getting to see first hand the way the children grow and expand their horizons through experiences inside and outside of the home. Something I want you to know about me is that my faith is something that I find very important in my life!

Amelia was the best nanny to our family. She worked with my kids when I had 7 year old twins and a 1 year old, and continued working alongside our family for 3 years while we had two more babies. She always seeks to be respectful in how you want things done, communicates, is trustworthy, and engages with each child. She was the best nanny we could have ever asked for. She worked hard to connect with every child, and plan fun things for each as well. She worked alongside me in the home while I homeschooled the older kids and she entertained the littles, as well as watching kids for appointments (including staying while we were in the hospital having a baby), and helped clean the house and care for dogs on days we were gone. Amelia would be an amazing person to have help with your kids and/or in your home.
