Hello, my name is Rashida, I am 30 years old, and I have over 13 years of experience in childcare. I own my own business working as a personal chef and as such teach cooking classes, and cater small events on the weekends. The family I most recently cared for consisted of a wonderful 3 and 5-year-old who I provided care for, for approximately 2 years since the ages of 1 and 3. I started out babysitting for the families in my church and continued babysitting even as I left for and returned from college. I love children though I don't have any on my own just yet, and I have a very fun loving and nurturing personality. I spend quite a bit of my time volunteering, primarily as part of a volunteer bible education work, and helping out the elderly. I like to help and take care of others, which I why I think I enjoy childcare!

Rashida was with my family for a couple of years taking care of my two toddler aged children. She was wonderful! My kids looked forward to her coming and still ask to see her! My son was beginning to explore his toddler "boundaries" and Rashida was excellent at redirecting him and teaching him right from wrong in a positive way. Rashida would take them outside and play with them inside and give them each individual attention. We felt very comfortable with our children in her care!
