About Iyana

Hi! My name is Iyana, and I'm 18 years old. I grew up in Malawi with my two siblings and was always surrounded by extended family, friends, and their children. I recently graduated from high school and will soon begin college, where I plan to study Occupational Therapy. My childcare experience includes volunteering in my church's children's ministry and babysitting family friends' children ages 3-12. Through these experiences, I've developed skills in being patient, responsible, attentive, and engaging with children of different ages and personalities. I enjoy creating a fun, safe, and positive environment for kids. In my free time, I enjoy camping, hiking, lacrosse, baking, and arts and crafts-activities I love sharing with children. I am CPR certified, comfortable around pets, and happy to care for families with animals. I look forward to providing reliable, caring childcare while helping children learn, play, and have fun.
