I have had such a wonderful experience with Raquel. She has been caring for my baby since she was 3.5 months old and even helped us navigate the transition to bottle feeding. Raquel has been an incredible child care provider to our two small children for nearly three years.  She is knowledgeable, patient, and loving toward the children in her care. Raquel took care of my son from 6 months - 2.5 years old. Raquel was like a second mom and is still to this day like a part of our family. My son and Raquel's daughter are like brother and sister and still are a part of each other's lives. I could not more highly recommend Raquel as a nanny and caregiver.

Raquel has been caring for our daughter A since she was an itty bitty four-month old.  A recently turned three years old and will be starting preschool, which is the only reason we are moving on from Raquel as her caregiver.  Over the years, we have found Raquel to be extremely dependable, full of love and very flexible with what has been my family's complex schedule.  She has made herself available for evenings and weekends when we provide advanced notice and she can typically accommodate unexpected schedule changes.   Her home is safe and lovely our daughter loves spending time in her care. Raquel is kind, compassionate, intelligent, and we love her. She's been taking care of our son for a long time now. She speaks a little bit of Portuguese to him as well which we love. Her home is clean and fun and she's an excellent caregiver to our son. (3yrs old)

Raquel started looking after my son when he was 14 months old. She has now been his part-time caregiver for the past ten months, and I cannot recommend her more highly. I have always felt very comfortable leaving him with her. She is extremely dependable and knowledgeable about children. My son loves spending time at her house and playing with her daughter, and he's always in a great mood when we pick him up. She always responds quickly to texts and is easy to communicate with. I was so happy to find her and give her my highest recommendation!

Raquel watched our son from the time he was 8 months until he was 2 years. She was absolutely wonderful with him and treated him like a member of her family. She has a very nurturing and loving home that provided a safe and happy place for my son to be each day when I went to work. We have recently interviewed Raquel to care for our son. She struck us as a very kind, competent, and professional care giver. She began by showing us her background check, CPR and teaching certificates. She has abundant experience as a nanny and in teaching pre-k schools. Her house is located in a green neighborhood and has a big yard for the kids to play. Inside has nice a setting with eat, sleep, and play areas. Since I am particular about hygiene issues, I was very pleased when she asked us to remove our shoes in the gated play area. Her three-year old daughter is very cute and sweet. There are tons of children's books and toys around so it is a very warm and loving environment for kids. We almost hired her but then ended up securing support from family to care for our son. I strongly recommend families to check out Raquel's place. Particularly if your child is close in age to Raquel's daughter, s/he can grow up playing with her in a warm and loving house environment. 

Raquel is an all-around amazing caregiver. She has baby sat my daughter (and dog too!) many times and each time, my daughter comes back home so happy and thrilled to have spent time with Raquel. Raquel is well-educated and fluently speaks English, Portuguese and Spanish. Her home is a safe and loving place to be, as well as so much fun! She has a big yard for kids to play in and loves to read with them too. I'd hire her over and over! 

Raquel is a wonderful, kind, and dependable babysitter for my 1.5 year old daughter.  She is a mother and a former teacher of young children, and her kindness and understanding about the needs of young children comes through in the wonderful care she provides.  Her home is so warm and welcoming, her 2-year old daughter is similarly kind and even-tempered, her lunches for the girls are so nutritional, and she integrates book-reading, singing and dancing, and even a bit of Portuguese language-teaching into the girls' days.  I give Raquel my highest recommendation.
