About Rachel

I started babysitting with my older sister when I was in the seventh grade, and continued on my own, usually babysitting 1-2 nights per week for various families in my neighborhood throughout my high school career. I worked as a nanny one summer for a family on my block (3 children, ages 5, 6, and 9)- I was responsible for getting them to swim lessons, arranging activities, making lunch and snacks, and making sure each child completed their summer reading. In addition to this, I worked as a swim lessons instructor and volunteered as a soccer coach during the summers of my junior and senior years in high school. This gave me experience in watching over larger groups of children and as they learned new skills in a safe and fun environment.
