About Rachel

I have over 7 years of babysitting experience. I consistently sat for five families, and have done occasional babysitting jobs as well. I've babysat children as young as infant age and as old as 14, so I have a wide range of expertise. I own a car and have a clean driving record. I'm CPR certified. I'm energetic, enthusiastic, responsible, patient, and compassionate and I love taking care of children. There's something about babysitting that other jobs simply don't offer: the chance to make a difference and an impact in a child's life, no matter how big or small that impact is it makes babysitting an invaluable experience for me. There's nothing better than an opportunity for me to use my imagination and teaching instincts at the same time, and coming up with activities to entertain and enrich children as a babysitter gives me that chance on a daily basis. I know how to have fun but also know when to set and enforce rules, and believe that every good babysitter should be able to strike a balance between the two.
