About Rachel

Hello! My name is Rachel, working with kids is one of my greatest passions. I'm currently an early childhood lead teacher and carer for 18month-3-year-olds at a forest school in Brooklyn! I'm looking to transition to private care for a few years while I consider grad school and work on art. I have over 12 years experience working in caring and education and am certified in CPR and First Aid, NYC Food Safety Certified, DOH background check and early child trained, have over 25 hrs of masters courses and trainings in childcare, have worked as an indoor and outdoor lifeguard and child swim instructor, and play and teach basic piano and ukulele/guitar. I come with great children's book recs, love story time, dramatic play, sensory play, and song and dance! I've previously worked with newborn up to high school and would be comfortable with those ages as well. Also open to a nanny share of up to 3. I come with family and professional references.
