About Rachel

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, creative, and enthusiastic! Children are our future! They are incredibly caring, creative and half glass full people. I'm looking for a job that really allows me to connect with the kids. I would love to set up something with some consistency to be able to get to know them and build a connection with them. I think it is important for the kids to have that consistency to help build a routine and to allow them to feel like they can be themselves. I started working with kids when I was 11 or 12. I started babysitting my cousins and would spend lots of time with them during the summers. I then got into coaching gymnastics for many years, working with kids ages 5-12. I loved coaching gymnastics because it allowed me to work with kids while sharing my passion for gymnastics with them! In my spare time, I like to listen to music, craft, cook or bake, and spend time outside!
