About Emily

I'd describe my personality as friendly, positive, and fun-loving which is one of the main reasons I think I align so well with child care roles. I've always loved working with kids because it allows me to embrace my creative and youthful side. I started babysitting in middle school for family members and friends with younger children and interacting with kids has always come very natural to me. I also love being a part of a child's development and being able to watch them learn and grow. I am very respectful of household norms and boundaries, so I love when parents are clear with me on what their household dynamic looks like and how they would like me to fit into that! I have worked in many childcare positions including as a babysitter, a nanny, a camp counselor, and a gymnastics coach. I have also volunteered in preschools and elementary schools. So I definitely have lots of experience working with children and would love to find a family to babysit for over this next year!
