About Rachel

Hi! I'm Rachel! I've been a nanny for 4 years and have experience caring for children from newborns through age 6, including siblings and multiples. I'm CPR and First Aid certified and love creating a fun, safe environment where kids can learn and explore. I'm especially passionate about arts and crafts, sensory play, outdoor adventures, library trips, and age appropriate activities. I believe children benefit from a balance of structured activities and independent play, and I don't think they need to be entertained every minute of the day. I believe in natural consequences and love giving children opportunities to help with everyday tasks like baking, cooking, laundry, and cleaning. I think these are great ways to build independence and practical skills. I'm dependable, patient, creative, and hands on. I'm looking for a long term family with good communication, mutual respect, a written contract, and guaranteed hours. I love helping kids learn, create, explore, and just be kids!
