Hello! I am currently an elementary special education teacher. I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, a Master's degree in Elementary Education, and a Teacher of Students with Disabilities certificate. I currently teach third grade, but have spent most of my 10 years teaching in lower elementary grades (pre-k, kindergarten, first, and second grades). I have worked with children of all ages in a variety of settings. I am available to tutor and can provide individualized instruction to help your child(ren) progress and succeed. I first met Rachel when she was my son's 1:1 aide at a private school for children with autism. I was immediately impressed with her dedication, her patience and her skills. After working with my son for two years at school, I hired Rachel to continue to work with him at home. My son made tremendous strides in reading, writing, and math during this time. Rachel has a unique way of reaching every child she works with. She is able to connect even with the most unfocused or non-verbal child and achieve success on so many levels.
