About Rachel

I am an experienced babysitter looking for childcare opportunities in the Washington, DC area. I have seven years of experience working with children, including as a babysitter, tutor, camp counselor, and Sunday school teacher. I have worked with children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers. I love spending time with kids, playing games, doing puzzles, and making arts and crafts. I especially enjoy tutoring, helping with homework, and educational play. I like to help kids learn! As a childcare provider, I prioritize safety and consistent communication with parents. I am very well-prepared (with both supplies and activities) but my experience has given me the confidence and understanding to be flexible with plans as well. A few fun facts about me: I recently received my bachelor's degree in political science from American University, I love to sing and enjoy any music-related activities (so I'm especially good at lullabies!), and I am a huge dog-lover.
