About Rachel

Hi Families, I have six years of experience babysitting children from ages 2 to 12. I truly have a passion for caring and teaching young children, I enjoy their energy and eagerness to learn. I have been a swim coach instructor for children ages 5-8 at BCC for three years, I enjoy teaching them how to swim and watching them progress. When I was younger I watched 4 children from ages 5-9 on a daily basis when they came home from school until 8:00 p.m. I helped them with their homework, fed them dinner, bathed the children, and put them in bed. I would also babysit on the weekends for a family who had a handicapped son. I helped with all of the above and made sure he received all of his medication. Before and after I graduated high school I worked at a daycare/ learning center, where I was a teacher's aide and caretaker. I also worked with two autistic children when I was there. There I worked with children 6 months to 10 yrs, from 12 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday -Friday. I also helped with a CCD program, where I was a teacher's aid.
