About Valeria

I have been a teacher and a nanny ever since I graduated college. Teaching and caring for children has always been my passion. I am currently a mother of 2 boys (1 and 5-year-old) and my children are my biggest blessing. My child care experience comes from being a nanny for a family for 2 years. My responsibilities included caring for 2 boys (3 and 5), getting them ready for school, assisting with their hygiene, driving them to and from school, assisting with their homework, preparing lunch, playing games and sports with them in free time. As a full-time Toddler Teacher, I was caring for 6 children (1 and 2-year-old), leading story time and art activities, helping with hygiene (diaper changes), stroller walks and playground activities, communicated with parents. As a full-time Preschool Lead Teacher, I prepared lesson plans for class of 20 children (4 and 5-year-old), circle time, art and educational activities, assisting in bathroom, playground supervision. As an Infant Room Teacher, I was caring for 4 babies (from 8 weeks to 12 months), stroller walks and sing-along activities, helped with bottle/ jar feeding, diaper changes, kept a detailed info log about each child's day.
