I took care of my parents for 8 years. My mother had Alzheimer's and was eventually bedridden, my father was blind in one eye and partially blind in the other, needed a hip replaced and was having to use a walker. We took care of my mother and father at home. Things that I did for my parents included: housekeeping, laundry, errands, feeding my mom, food prep, going with them to the doctor, personal care for my mother, organizing medications and companionship. I'm so glad I got to spend this time with them, wouldn't trade it for the world!
