Originally from Costa Rica , where I earned a B. S. in Pediatric Nutrition at the University of C. R., I have been working as a nanny in the Pittsburgh area since 2011. I live in Fox Chapel with my husband and two daughters (ages 7&8). I have primarily worked with families beginning with their first born and continued with them through the time when their youngest went to preschool. I love working with infants and small children. I have been told that I am a very patient person. I believe in working with families and supporting their choices on how to raise their children. I have worked with many different types of families with many different parenting styles. I think socialization is important for infants and toddles and enjoy organizing play dates and activities outside the home to help them grow and develop. Many of the families I have worked for really appreciated having their children immersed in Spanish.

We were SO lucky to find Priscilla when we welcomed our little girl into this world. As a first-time mom, I was overwhelmed by taking care of a child and Priscilla not only took the best care of our 3-month old, but also helped me figure out things like her nap schedule, how much to feed her, what to feed her, and so much more! Priscilla would always take her out on walks, read to her, sign to her, and find opportunities for her to meet and play with other kids. She also taught my daughter Spanish, which we wanted and absolutely loved. I cannot recommend her highly enough and we would have loved to keep working with Priscilla but unfortunately had to move out of the state.
