I never run out of patience! I like working with kids because it's so beautiful to see the world in their eyes! I work full time as a lead toddler teacher and everyday is different. Everyday has something new to learn. Not only for them, but for me as well. Watching them overcome hurdles, blossom in their learning, and become more and more confident everyday is why I LOVE working with kids. I started working with kids when I was in high school. The school had an internship program and I chose daycare. Two days a week I would go and work along side the teachers in the daycare and from then on I knew I would grow up working with children. I have 17 years of professional daycare setting experience, but started babysitting jobs before then at 12 years of age.

Portia is absolutely amazing! She has been watching my girls from age 1 to 4 for the past 3.5 years. She is very reliable and punctual. I have been able to go out and know my kids are in great hands. Portia is really good at communicating throughout the night which always puts me at ease knowing when the girls are in bed or eating dinner. She is very creative and does some amazing art projects with them. I would recommend Portia to all my closest friends and family.
