About Poppie

I spent nearly every day growing up at an animal shelter, learning how to care for animals, understand their needs, and build trust through patience and kindness. I love caring for cats & dogs like they're my own! I'd describe my personality as compassionate, responsible, and patient. I like working with animals because they bring me joy, and I love building trust and caring for them. Being around them feels natural to me. I grew up with them and learned early on how important kindness, patience, and consistency are. In my spare time, I like to bake, go hiking, spend time at the river, and just being in nature. I'm also a nursing major, so caring for others, animals and people, is a big part of who I am. My skills include animal comfort, a reliable routine, and reading animal behavior.
