About Piya

Hello! My name is Piya and I am a recent UC Santa Barbara graduate and SF native looking for work as a nanny, babysitter, and tutor through the months of June-August. I have had the pleasure of working with children ages 3-12 as a nanny, babysitter, camp counselor, and tutor over the past eight years. I am passionate about quality childcare and emphasizing safety and fun when babysitting. I am comfortable working with multiple children in academic and social environments, adapting to whatever the children and their parents need of me. I especially enjoy incorporating the outdoors and gardening when babysitting, as well as playing board games, doing puzzles, and reading. I'm known for being patient, creative, and kind. I am happy to assist families with cooking, meal preparation, light housework, and errands in addition to childcare. It is important to me to maintain rapid, clear communication with families.
