Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With three years of experience supporting elementary and middle school learners, including students with dyscalculia and memorization challenges, I focus on building confidence and making learning approachable rather than overwhelming. I aim to foster a genuine love for discovery over rote memorization, helping students understand concepts instead of just memorizing them. I adapt my methods to each student by observing how they engage with new material and adjusting in real time, using visual aids, hands-on activities, and focused discussion. When concepts are difficult, I break them into manageable steps and connect them to personal interests to maintain momentum. I also prioritize clear communication with both students and parents to ensure we stay aligned on goals. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing that "aha!" moment when everything clicks.
