About Pilar

Hello! I'm Pilar, a warm and dedicated caregiver with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, and currently studying to become a certified Medical Assistant. I'm fluent in English & Spanish and bring over 7 years of experience supporting children in caregiving and therapeutic settings. My background includes caring for children with chronic and infectious diseases, cancer, ADHD, and gifted learners, as well as typically developing children. My goal is to do more than provide care. I strive to create intentional, nurturing spaces where children can thrive emotionally, socially, and intellectually. Having lived in the U. S., Guatemala, and Panama, I bring a strong multicultural perspective and a naturally curious, creative spirit. I love incorporating science, art, reading, and music into play, and believe in making every child feel heard, empowered, and loved. I'm also a mom of two, a 7-year-old daughter and a 15-year-old stepson, who constantly remind me of the joy and wonder in growing u
