I have been a paraprofessional (AKA 1:1 aide) for about 3 years now. I worked at Monroe #1 BOCES for 2 yrs doing that, and am now doing the same thing for Pittsford Central School District. I help students one on one throughout their school days and assist with behavior management, academic help, feeding, toileting/diapering on occasion. I've worked with students with a variety of disabilities ages 5-21.
