About Philadelphia

I'm an experienced tutor with a background in education, classroom support, and behavior management. I've worked as a substitute teacher in a Catholic school, where I supported students across different grade levels and subjects. This helped me develop strong instructional skills, patience, and the ability to adapt quickly to each student's learning style. I also have experience working in a behavior-focused school, where I supported students with a variety of behavioral and emotional needs. This gave me hands-on experience using positive behavior strategies, building trust, and helping students stay focused and engaged in their work. In addition, I've substituted in Special Education classrooms, where I became comfortable modifying lessons, providing one-on-one support, and helping students with diverse learning needs succeed. I'm confident working with IEP goals, accommodations, and individualized learning plans.
