About Payton

I've worked with all ages of children from infants up to school aged children. I babysat when I was younger and also when I was in high school for a summer. My senior year of high school, I was in the cadet teaching program and helped in an extended day kindergarten class room with children who needed extra help. I also was a preschool teacher on Sunday mornings for my church. I am currently in college and majoring in Family and Child Development with an emphasis in Early Childhood so I'm going to become a preschool teacher and possibly when I graduate go back to school and get my Special Education teaching degree. My first year of college, I worked in a church nursery as a Nursery Teacher. I would change diapers, entertain children, develop activities they could do, etc. I've taken several courses in child education and their development and I am currently in a lab helping in a preschool.
