I have had amazing experiences being a nanny for two different families of small children while I was at college at UNC Chapel Hill. I graduated UNC Chapel Hill with a degree in Middle School Education. I then worked for a Christian international gap year program for 6 years out of college, leading and designing curriculum. One of those summers I watched, nearly full time, two different families children who were both three and non verbal. The last two years I have been teaching in home for a family for their middle school aged child. I also have cared for children under 1, taught afternoon classes of preschool and early elementary school ESL children, and worked two summers at my local church as a middle school youth intern. I can provide references for all of these positions!!
