About Pauline

I'm an attorney and writer with 2 years experience as a college-level writing tutor. As part of my tutoring training, I came to understand writing as an extended process of pre-writing, drafting, and editing. I love working one-on-one with students to develop an individualized writing process and help them build confidence in their writing. In the legal field my writing skills helped me excel at drafting persuasive briefs, motions, and other documents. Distilling complicated topics into understandable written work products is a skill that can be learned with patience and practice. I will help students improve the technical aspects of their writing and help them think critically about how they communicate their ideas to strengthen their overall writing ability. Writing is a necessary skill in any field, and I am passionate about helping students grow as writers and communicators so that they may become more comfortable wirh the writing process.
