I'd describe my personality as kind, joyful, determined. I like tutoring because I get the best of both worlds: control of my own time and teaching I started tutoring when I was in high school, I have always helped friends study, then after I graduated college. I started tutoring as a job on and off In my spare time, I like to go to the gym, be with my family My skills include my background in psychology, I attempt to connect with whoever is trying to learn. I then find the best way for them to understand and learn, not just memorize. I make learning fun, learning doesn't have to always look the same, for some it looks like walking, and talking, for other throwing a ball while listening, some kids make songs about it, others draw while they have music in the back, it really just depends. Lastly, get students to trust me, if they feel safe enough to tell me exactly why they don't get a specific subject, we can actually start from solving the issue.
