I believe every student has unique potential and can achieve their goals with personalized support. I aim to create an engaging, supportive, and patient learning environment. By actively listening and observing initial interactions with new material, I assess a student's individual learning style. I encourage open communication about what methods work best. I celebrate small successes and provide consistent positive reinforcement. I break down complex problems into manageable steps to build momentum. Communication is essential for understanding student needs, progress, and setting clear expectations. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding aspect of being a tutor. I have some college experience and am comfortable tutoring Math at the Elementary, Middle School, and High School levels. I am CPR trained and have First Aid certifications.
